Ciel Roi is the creation of Jacob Tyler Michaud. In 2014, after completing his Bachelor's of Fine Arts, Michaud endeavored to explore his growing interest in performance through music. Partnering with producer Scott J Webber, they began the process of writing a collection of experimental untitled demos. By 2016, the project had taken shape in the form of Prometheia. The concept was a pop opera influenced by Michaud's own experience with heartbreak and personal growth.
